Hapless Genie + Pro Footballer = MAGIC GONE WILD by Judi Fennell (W*n a Copy!)

Today’s featured book is by an author I was fortunate enough to meet at Authors After Dark last week, where we shared a panel on humor in urban fantasy and paranormal romance. And, yeah, I was a fangirl and went over to get a book signed later in the week. She’s as much fun in person as you’d think from reading her books! You can learn more about Judi from her website.

Judi writes terrific light paranormals with lots of sexy humor. The new book, Magic Gone Wild, which was released August 1, is the third in her Bottled Magic series–but all the books can stand alone and feature a different hero and heroine.

Want to learn more–and win a copy for yourself? Read on….

ABOUT MAGIC GONE WILD: Genie Vana Aphrodite is having a pretty rough day. She’s failing to live up to the name “Aphrodite,” she’s stuck living in her master’s attic, and her powers are on the fritz. To make matters even worse, her master’s great-grandson, Zane, informs her that she has completely ruined his family’s reputation. Zane is ready to sell his family’s estate, genie and all but Vana’s bound and determined to fix her past wrongs. Can Aphrodite prove to him that his life needs a little bit of magic?

So, ready to read some romantical (is that a word?) magic and win a copy of Magic Gone Wild? You know the drill–leave a comment for an entry. As always, extra entries for blog follow, Twitter follow @Suzanne_Johnson, and a Tweet or Retweet, so four entries possible. Have you read a book with genies (or djinn) before? I think my first was Rachel Caine’s Weather Wardens series.

  2. I love the premise of this – a genie having trouble with her powers could cause a whole lot of trouble. I think I already have the first book in the TBR tower. I’ll have to dig it out.

  3. The only book I’ve read with genies was an epic fantasy where they weren’t the main character 🙂

  4. I read a genie book years ago and absolutely loved it! (I have read hundreds of books since then so sadly the author/title has totally faded from memory). I enjoyed the few Weather warden books I’ve read as well. The thought of a genie romance in which things are going rather haywire sounds like a really fun and entertaining read – I can’t wait to get my hands on it 🙂

  5. Hey, Suzanne! SOOOOO great hanging with you at AAD! I love your “fangirl” comment – ah, seriously, it was my pleasure.

Hope you all enjoy Vana and Zane’s story! And if anyone’s up for some straight contemporary, I just release my “stripper” series, BeefCake, Inc. with the first book, Beefcake & Cupcakes. It’s available online.

Thanks for the shout out and I hope the contest winner enjoys the story!

  6. I have read a few books with Genies. One in particular that I loved was a book written by Kathleen Nance (unfortunately the title escapes me right now). Thanks for the awesome giveaway and the book sounds fantastic. bpatrick64113@sbcglobal.net +1 Comment, +1 Follower

  7. I have read a few books with Genies/Djinns in them and loved them! And I am always happy to have a paranormal with humor in it 🙂 I know I have at least 1 of this series in my TBR pile (not sure whether print or electronic though). I will have to get it read if it is the first, or get the first if not.

  10. Ooo how come I never heard of this series? Sounds just up my alley! Genies, hmm. Thea Harrison writes about a genie in her fourth novel, about the Oracle, loved it very much.
