#PNR Thursday: W*n CHOSEN by Sable Grace

Ready for some gods and goddesses? Today’s featured book is CHOSEN, the third book in Sable Grace’s Dark Breed series (each works as a standalone). This is a new series and author for me (“authors,” actually, as Sable Grace is the pen name for the writing team of Heather Waters and Laura Barone). See what you think, and weigh in to be entered to win a copy!
ABOUT THE BOOK: The ranks of tough, beautiful, and sexy heroines who battle supernatural evil have grown since the early days of Buffy the Vampire Slayer–and none are tougher than author Sable Grace’s half Vampyre-half Lychen warrior Kyana. Paranormal romance fans who regularly devour the bestselling novels of Jeaniene Frost, Pamela Palmer, and Sherrilyn Kenyon will be mesmerized by Chosen, Grace’s third breathtaking Dark Breeds adventure. This time her unstoppable avenger takes on her new role as Goddess of the Hunt, joining with Ryker–the new Zeus and Kyana’s one true love–to save the world from vampires, demons, shapeshifters, and all manner of supernatural creatures of the night, in a battle that could carry them to the fiery depths of Hades itself.
Want to win a copy of Chosen? Tell me if you’ve read this series, and what you think of it!
You know the drill, my goddess (and godlike) friends: one entry for comment, a second for blog follow, third for Twitter follow @Suzanne_Johnson, and a fourth for a tweet or retweet.

  1. I became fascinated by writing duos, to name a few:

    C.T. Adams & Cathy Clamp
    Ilona & Gordon Andrews
    Pip Ballentine & Tee Morris
    Clay & Susan Griffith
    Heather Waters & Laura Barone
    Faith Hunter & C.E. Murphy
    Steven King & Peter Straub

Have Ascension and Bedeviled by Sable Grace still on the TBR pile.

    • As a writer, it fascinates me too, Roger. In fact, I would LOVE to collaborate on a project. I think the exchange of ideas would be a lot of fun. Another team is Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, who do a popular YA series.

  2. I haven’t read any of this series yet, but I have to say my favorite collaboration of all time was Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman on Good Omens.

Maybe some day I can be part of a writing team; I would need someone who’s very good at plotting, though. That’s my biggest weakness.

  6. I haven’t read this series yet, but I do have the first two books on my TBR shelf, so I will read them soon. I think the series sounds fantastic and I’m looking forward to reading it.

  8. Oooo how come this has escaped my notice? So no, I have not read it yet, but it now is on my wishlist. Thanks for the chance to win this book (and the excuse if that happens to buy the others!)
