Celebrate My Idiocy and W*n a Book, Any Book

Leave a comment today and win your choice of book. Any book. You can choose from this week’s Reader’s Β Choice list, or you can choose something totally different from your personal wish list. If you entered Reader’s Choice already, enter again here….because I lost your earlier comments. Yikes!

First, though, be sure to visit the Grave Tells site today and leave a comment to win a choice of any of my books or, if you prefer, a $10 Amazon gift card or equivalent book of choice from the Book Depository. The contest on the blog just says a copy of Storm Force but I’m all about choices today!

And a big thanks to Jessica at Jessica Loves Books for the great Penton review today!

If you did comment on Monday’s list, you’ll have noticed the comments were…bizarre. What I did when I clicked that little Google Plus comment box was hijack my own comments. Ack!

But it’s now fixed. You don’t have to sign up for anything. I love the folks at Google as a rule, but not when they backdoor us into using their products.

So pick a book, any book, and leave it in the newly-restored comments!

  1. I can’t remember what my original comment was for this week , but I would love to have another chance at winning Affliction from Laurell K Hamilton.
    Thanks

  2. I wondered what had happened! I thought maybe the Google + thing was just because I was reading the blog on a mobile device. I’d go for Fifth Grave by Darynda Jones.

  3. I wondered what happened Monday, but I figured Google was doing something weird. I’d love the new Connie Willis, I think she is brilliant!

  4. hum i would love to get the miss education of Dr Exeter by jillian stone( or something else from my list but that one choice from teh past new release so it’s easier to remember)

thank you once again ( and you see none of us is unhappy to have the old version back^^)

  5. I’m liking the Storm Force option, but only if it’s a full book and not a novella. If that’s the case, how about anything by J.T. Geissinger?

At least this wasn’t your fault. I’m constantly doing idiotic things. Thanks for your generosity. I appreciate it.

  6. Ah, I already wondered why you changed your comments setting.
Hmm… Can I decide on a book if I’m lucky enough to win? I’m torn between Carniepunk and Nerve at the moment and can think of lots more πŸ˜‰

  7. It’s summer! Time for craziness, even if it means a stealth-invasion executed by Google Plus! It was cool, I thought you were mixing things up:)) OR it’s Jean hijacking your blog because he misses the Jean-focused attention from last week:))

I’d love Spies and Prejudice by Talia Vance, not on your blog from earlier, but I just saw it and it sounds awesome:))

    Thank you:))

  8. I was also surprised by the new comment format – my aging mind can’t keep up with all these techno upgrades! I commented on that post again and happy to see the old format – if we can pick any book though, I would pick Affliction by Laurell Hamilton!

    Thanks,
    Leanne

  9. That explains a lot!

I think I had asked for The Glass God, so I’ll just stick with that.

  10. I would love to have another chance at winning a lot of the books on your readers choice list, 1 was LKH’s Affliction, 1 was Cecy Robson’s
book. Of course I would also love to win one of yours.

  11. Having just seen Now You See Me, I can’t help thinking what book I choose will be the one you want me to pick! πŸ™‚

I would have to request River Road – a copy of the UK paperback. I only have in on kindle at the moment and would love to add it to me keeper shelf! πŸ™‚

  12. I would love to win Elysian Fields! I’ve read the second book in your series, have the first sitting on my shelf to read (I’ll get them all eventually, because I like them), but I’d really love to have that one. Thanks for the chance!

  13. I would have to go with Lover At Last by J.R. Ward.

I am trying to figure out why so much is being charged for ebooks. I hate to say it, but I don’t even pay that price for a print book. I know authors work hard and spend a lot of their time writing, but when you are on a limited income….Those prices just can’t be done. I really wish I could.

So the only way I will get that book is if they have a huge sale or I win it. πŸ˜‰

    • Hi Deb–I sympathize. I’d written a long response here, and decided it wasn’t the place. Just that publishers have the reasons for what they charge, readers have limits as to what they can afford, and authors are usually caught in the middle. But that’s a good topic for a “Shop Talk” blog one day πŸ™‚

  14. Ah, technology. It’s a wonderful thing, isn’t it? ;-D

I’d love to win a copy of Talon/Xavier by Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright

  17. If it can be a pre-order of a book that comes out in few weeks i’d choose Infinityglass by Myra McEntire. Otherwise I’d love to read Shutdown by Heather Anastasiu

    Thanks.
