Scottish plus Irish equals vampires!

Not much time to blog today; I’m in Day Job Hell and getting ready to head out to Atlanta tomorrow for the annual conference of the Romance Writers of America. I’ll be posting evening posts the rest of the week with pics from RWA!

BUT, I have a few things to read today, with a giveaway below.

First, got the awesome news last night that Susannah Sandlin’s REDEMPTION, featuring Irish master vampire Aidan Murphy, is a finalist for the Maggie Awards sponsored by the George Romance Writers. The winner will be announced in early October.

ABSOLUTION, featuring Scottish master vampire Mirren Kincaid, is a finalist for the PRISM Awards sponsored by the Fantasy Futuristic and Paranormal chapter of RWA. (ABS, as I call it–heh) also was the winner of this year’s HOLT Medallion award for paranormal romance. The PRISM winners will be announced Thursday night.

Since I am of Scots-Irish ancestry, this seems only fitting, yes?

Okay, so. Leave comments on blog appearances and reviews today to win a $10 Amazon or other gift card to your retailer of choice. This is separate from any giveaways associated with the guest blogs. One comment equals one entry, with three entries possible.

I’m doing an interview today at Romance With Flavor, with a giveaway. If you win and already have the books, you can opt for a $10 Amazon or other gift card.

There’s a guest post by everyone’s favorite merman Rene Delachaise up at Paranormal Romance Fan for Life…scroll down, ’cause it’s kind of hidden.

And there’s a lovely review of REDEMPTION today at Shut Up and Read.

Later, gators!
