Lions, Tigers and Sexy Bears, Oh My! with Candace Havens and C*ntest

Today should be an exciting day here at Preternatura.  There are two blog posts today! (Yeah, I’d like to say I’m giving you bonus stuff…and I am….because I accidentally double-booked.) So please remember, when you finish reading–and commenting on–this one, look for the next one on the list and be sure to read and comment on that one as well. Two chances at some great giveaways today!

Please help me welcome fellow author Candace Havens to Preternatura. Candace is dropping by as part of the virtual book tour to celebrate her latest release, Lions, Tigers and Sexy Bears Oh My!, which was published on July 22 by Entangled Publishing. I love Entangled books, and I love Candace’s work, and I love the title….so it has to be all good, right?

Her books have received nominations for the RITAs, Holt Medallion and Write Touch Reader Awards. ABOUT LIONS, TIGERS and SEXY BEARS OH MY!:  A Montana town where no one is who they seem….  Everything about runaway heiress Ainsley McLeon screamed trouble—from her luscious midnight locks to her Louboutin-clad toes.  Yet sexy, stoic bar owner Luc couldn’t deny the instant connection he felt to the tempting stranger…or the long-dead feelings she evoked.  She could work in his pub until her truck was fixed but after that she had to leave town for good.  Ainsley traveled with her own emotional baggage and there was no way she’d fall for the bear-tempered Luc…no matter how many passionate nights she spent in his bed or how safe she felt in his muscular arms. Can these two opposites find love in the middle of a blizzard, or will Luc’s darker side and Ainsley’s past catch up with them?

And now, let’s hear from Candace…

Hello! Thanks so much for having me today. I thought you guys might enjoy a Q-and-A with Luc, the hero from Lions, Tigers, and Sexy Bears, Oh My. He’s a rather interesting fellow.

Q: Hey, Luc, why don’t you tell these lovely folks about the town where you live?
Luc: Clarksville is a small town in the Montana wilderness. Not exactly a tourist site, as we aren’t really crazy about visitors.
Q: Okay, then. Why don’t you tell us about your newest waitress, Ainsley.
Luc: (His eyebrow raises.) Why? What do you know?
Q: Um, not much. That’s why I’m asking you. She doesn’t really seem to fit in.
Luc: She doesn’t. She landed here accidentally. As soon as her truck is fixed, she’s out of here. She doesn’t belong here, though I will say she has a way with the customers. They seem to like her, and she doesn’t put up with their crap. We’re a rowdy group and things can turn dangerous in a matter of seconds.
Q: Good to know. You don’t seem to be her biggest fan. What’s that about?
Luc: She’s trouble. Beautiful, smart and funny. Like I said, trouble.
Q: Sounds to me like you might like her just a little bit.
Luc: (Silence.)
Q: Moving on. Have you always been a bar owner?
Luc: No.
Q: So, what did you do before this?
Luc: FBI Agent.
Q: Very cool. Why did you retire?
Luc: Personal reasons that are none of your business. This interview is over. (He storms off.)
Dear Lord in heaven, he can be ass. But he’s kind of beautiful, in a giant lumberjack with a rugged face kind of way. I’d suggest readers get to know more about Luc in “Lions, Tigers and Sexy Bears, Oh My.” He can be quite the charmer when he wants to be.

Thanks, Candace. Um…Giant Lumberjack is good. I like that a lot, in fact. Sexy bear, indeed!

And now, for your chance to win.  There is tourwide prize of a $25 Amazon gift card just waiting to be won.  All you have to do is enter below. And while you’re here, who’s your favorite sexy beast? I’m kind of loving a certain British psychiatrist-turned-vampire right now….
