Who’s Your Favorite Vampire? For the Win….

Sorry for the abbreviated post today–my last day job day before the holidays (yay), although I have to work the epic Alabama-Auburn football game all day on Saturday (boo). Don’t EVEN ask who I’m pulling for because I have no idea. Both. Neither. Either. I shall wear an orange and navy shirt and red and white pants. Or something like that.

In the meantime, I’m over at the Diaries of 2 Thick Chicks blog today, answering questions about All Things Penton. You can win your choice of signed Penton book or, if you have them already or have no interest in them, I’ll substitute a mystery book from my ever-growing TBR Ocean.

Just tell me who your favorite vampire is. (Nope, doesn’t have to be one of mine, either. I’m feeling kindly toward Rhage today…)

Hop back over here tomorrow for a special guest!

  1. I love the vampires in Barbara Hambly’s Those Who Hunt the Night, especially the one who lives in the catacombs of Paris. (My memory is not coming up with his name). This is one of my very favorite vampire novels.

  2. I have to be true to my heart and say Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows. I ran home everyday to catch the last 15 mins of the show (thankfully I lived right across the street)! He is the one responsible for my tastes today. Of course I could say Angelique too since she made him. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Thanksgiving my friend!!!

  3. hmmm difficult question. You know when you say vampire, the first in my mind in always Jean Claude or Asher in the Anita Blake series. But now after so many books, I can really say it’s my fav vampire. So who else? well now I have to think of it… I don’t think I have a fav in fact. But I like Royce in the H&W Investigation, Ivy in the Hollow series, or Misha in the Weird sisters series. But well vampire for me will always mean Jean Claude first.

  4. if i must pick one not from you i will says bones from the night huntress series ( my first vampires love^^)

i can only wish you a lot of courage with the day job looks like it never quiet;)

happy thanksgiving ( with a little advance)

  5. Jean Claude from Anita Blake, Wrath from BDB, Mikail from the Carpathian series, Bones, and Betsy the Vampire Queen from Mary Janice Davidson is a riot!

  6. My favorite vampire is Cherie Priest’s Raylene Pendle because she’s sarcastic, irreverent, badass when she needs to be, but has a soft heart she tries to hide without much success.

  7. Honestly, any of the vampires from JR Ward’s Black Dagger Britherhood would do me just fine. If forced to choose, I’d probably go with Wrath, not only is he the King, but he gets over his human prejudices and triumphs over his visual impairment–he slowly goes blind in the series. Still kicks butt, despite being unable to see.

  8. I have been a paranormal fan for 25 years and my favorite vamp is Edge from Maggie Shayne’s Twilight series. “Edge of Twilight”. He is so raw with emotion & very real
