Happy Tuesday! I had a guest blogger cancel on me at the last minute, so you’re stuck with me today.
First, I’m up for Favorite Author for 2013 over at the awesome Grave Tells blog. Here’s the link (thanks to Liz for sending it to me) to vote–it’s one of the last categories, down at the bottom. Last time I looked, I was in last place–LOL. These things are always fun, but they’re basically popularity contests, so I never go out and beat the bushes for votes. However, it’s fun to be nominated and if you find time to vote, Susannah and I will appreciate it!
Next, check out the Paranormal Unbound blog today, where I’m trotting out my nine favorite reads of 2013…it’s a sad and eclectic list, but you can win your choice of a book or an Amazon GC for commenting!
Now…it’s finally here! I’ve been sitting on the cover for Lovely, Dark, and Deep until I got the go-ahead to show it, but since it popped up on the preorder page at Amazon last night, I consider it fair game.
Here’s the official blurb:
From award-winning author Susannah Sandlin comes a heart-pounding romantic thriller that pits a quick-witted scientist and a scarred ex–combat diver against a ruthless billionaire treasure hunter with ties to the White House.
When biologist Gillian Campbell makes an offhand comment about a family curse during a TV interview, she has no idea what her words will set in motion. Within days, Gillian finds herself at the mercy of a member of the C7, a secretive international group of power brokers with a dangerous game: competing to find the world’s most elusive treasures, no matter the cost, in money or in lives. To save her family, Gillian teams up with Shane Burke, a former elite diver who’s lost his way, navigating the brutal “death coast” of the North Atlantic to find what the collector seeks: the legendary Ruby Cross of the Knights Templar, stolen by Gillian’s ancestor and lost at sea four hundred years ago.
