Need to Read? I’m Looking for You!

Have a Sunday stretching ahead of you with nothing to read? I’m looking for a few volunteers to read the first few “sneak peek” chapters of a new novel today–about 30 pages–and answer a few questions (general things like, whether you like the characters, if the opening of the story engaging, etc.). The first five to email me HERE and volunteer will get a mention in the book’s acknowledgment page!

Also, did you know Kindle books make great gifts? ABSOLUTION, winner of the 2013 Holt Medallion for paranormal romance, is on sale today for $1.99–great time to pick up a copy or send one to a friend with a Kindle!

Thanks to everyone who shared Thanksgiving traditions this week and had input into what DJ should most be grateful for: sounds like 1) Alex; 2) Surviving; and 3) Friendship (especially with Rene) were the top of the list, and I’d have to agree!

Now…did you win a book this week? If so, please contact me at the same email link above and provide your info. If you won mystery books, send me your two preferred genres (sci fi, fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal romance, horror, etc. I can’t promise to hit them since I’m light in a few categories and heavy in others, but I’ll try). If you’d prefer that I include signed copies of any of my books, let me know that too.

For commenting on the Sentinels holiday post, BOOKLADY won a trio of books from my TBR pile–these are all print books.

LIL won a signed book of choice from the Penton series or a mystery book from my TBR pile for commenting on the Penton holiday post.

SANDY G won the pretty set of measuring spoons for commenting on Betty Bolte’s Thanksgiving post.

AMANDA G won this week’s Reader’s Choice and selected Black Widow Demon by Paula Altenberg.

And stay tuned this week, because we have some awesome guests coming to the site, including Paula Altenberg, Mark Henry, Nina Croft, and Anne Lippin!

On Wednesday, I also hope to share some news about my “what’s old is new again” project, Chenoire.

Later, gators!
