Oops

Sorry if you got a notification of a guest post today. I had scheduled to be part of Kristin Miller’s SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF blog tour, but didn’t receive the guest post, and emails to the publicist went unanswered.

It’s my blog policy for my readers (that’s you!), as a general rule, to not run promo spotlights without offering exclusive content of some kind–a guest post, a Q&A, a review, or a discussion. I had prescheduled the basics of that post, assuming I’d get the guest post…then forgot to cancel it when I didn’t. So, apologies for that! Too bad, because it sounds like an interesting series!

In the meantime, I’m happy to report that revisions are all done for PIRATE’S ALLEY. It’s everything I love about the Sentinels series, as an author–it’s funny, sometimes off-the-wall wacky, emotional, and has plenty of knuckle-biting. DJ continues to grow into her powers; Jean makes a surprisingly candid confession and we begin to see what the pirate’s end game might be; Alex is put through an emotional wringer; Jake’s life is settling down in a surprising way; Rand misbehaves; there’s a new player on the scene named Christof; Truman Capote joins the cast; DJ has new relatives; and Rene is…Rene. (He eats a lot. He goes on dates. He conspires with Jean Lafitte.) We have new sets in New Orleans–the Tulane U. history building, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and City Park. There are bombs and fires and someone gets bitten by a vampire. And there is lots and lots of snow.

And now I’m off to work on book five, BELLE CHASSE!

  1. i appreciate that you make only promo post with special exclusive content it’s really a plus because when it’s just teh cover or blurb all over the blog we stop reading them all together ( i think) sad the publicist didn’t do a good job because if you think it could be a good series i’m sure a lot of us would think the same

anyway i’m really happy the new, we haven’t see a lot of Truman so far and i’m really curious about him, Rene is simply perfect as he is so more of him is a must^^ and with the snippet about DJ’s relative of course we will want more^^

However as much as i want the next book as soon as possible i hope you are still taking some time for yourself as you told us^^ ( though it sounds as you are as busy as ever to me^^;;)
