Happy Mother’s Day!

cjohnnieweb1Today is Mother’s Day here in the U.S., so just an abbreviated post here today. Unfortunately, I’ll spent most of the day working on day-job stuff and falling behind with my book-in-progress, but that’s the way it goes. Here’s a photo of my mom when she’ was about 17 or 18, so early 1940s, a couple of year before she met a young man about to head off to World War II.

So Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out that or to all of us who ever had moms…which should be most of us. All my kids have had four legs and fur, but I’ve loved ’em anyway!
