TBR Tuesday and #Tigergiving

Happy National Day of Giving! I know that you’re used to me coming on here every day or two and touting my books, or someone else’s books, but today, I’d like you to meet a special person, Josh Wetzel. Most of you know my day job is at Auburn University (but I’m a Bama grad, so I’m bilingual), and today my office is trying to raise enough money to fund an endowed scholarship for someone like Josh to be able to attend the university. We’re only 40 or so miles from Fort Benning, Ga., so we have a lot of veterans who’d like to attend Auburn.

You can meet Josh here:

We’re hoping to get 5,000 people to give at least $5. That’s all it will take to fund an endowed scholarship that will help veterans attend Auburn for years to come. If you’d like to participate, click here and click on the $25 gift. You can then plug in the amount you’d like to donate, even $5.

Regardless of politics, I’m a firm believer that we all need to support our veterans.

What does this have to do with a TBR Tuesday? Well, I’m giving away a mystery book. You don’t have to donate to enter. Just leave a comment and tell me what you’re reading now! I’m reading an ARC of James Rollins’ upcoming thriller THE BONE LABYRINTH and will eventually have a review here….but it’s a thick book so it might take a while!

  1. i’m stuck in a book by michelle fox notthat it’s bad but right now all my free time in for making christmas gift so reading is on hold for a few more days ( weeks) at least

  2. Happy National Day of Giving! I love that the Internet and social media has the power/can be a platform for all these amazing fundraising events (with all the flak social media is receiving nowadays from social media influencers, uh huh).

Anyway, just finished Amy Tintera’s Reboot duology and it was SO GOOD, so I tried to dig out dystopian/post apocalyptic YA novels from that year, Defiance by CJ Redwine and Arclight by Josie Mcqoein (sth like that), and they’re both…not so good. Sigh, haha, thanks for the giveaway!
