Missing in Action

So, yeah, I’m out of commission this week. Unfortunately, the two guest authors I had lined up for yesterday and today didn’t bother to send their posts (or let me know they wouldn’t). I thought about publishing their names….starting a “deadbeat author wall of shame” or something.

So play amongst yourselves this week as I deal with day-job trauma, an arthritis flare, and insomnia (due to all of the above). See you on Sunday! (Continue to enter for the weekly Reader’s Choice and the BELLE CHASSE ARC giveaway in the meantime!)

  1. Have you tried the new Aspercreme with Lidocaine? It really helps my knees. On a happier note, I have been reading Lovely, Dark and Deep, and it is really good. You will make a romantic suspense lover of me yet. Hope you are better soon.

    • You must be psychic! I bought some Aspercreme with Lidocaine on the way to the day job this morning and was just about to try it! And glad you’re liking Lovely, Dark, and Deep! My romantic suspense isn’t much different from my paranormals–the characters all just happen to be human 🙂

      • Just enough woo-woo to pique my interest; voodoo curses and Templar treasure. And if you’re talking Weston, I’d say subhuman.

    • What is this rest of which you speak? Seriously, though, I am trying to figure out the right balance of rest and movement to keep the arthritis in check. Obviously, I did something wrong this week!

  2. I’m so sorry people can be so rude and uncaring of others! Good luck with the dreaded day job and cranky joints.

  3. no hard feeling at all you haven’t done anything wrong
some exercice in water can help but no matter what you choose take care of you!

  4. Get better! My doctor gave me Vomovo, a prescription strength of Aleve and an acid reducer, since I have stomach “issues”. It has worked wonders for me and my arthritis. I’m allergic to anything with codeine, so this new prescription has really helped.
Maybe a wall of shame isn’t a bad idea…no, you are too sweet for that. Me, on the other hand 😉

  5. Hey Suzanne, don’t stress it. 🙂 This blog is supposed to be a hobby and some fun/down time for you right? So who cares about those authors, it’s all about quality over quantity anyway. Have a good rest and good luck with the day job!
