Anyone Know a Good Exorcist? Fun Facts about DJ

Yikes! I need an exorcist….or an elven fire staff.

November began with a bang, with a fall that seemed minor but ended up with still-annoying back and knee damage. Then there was the infamous $10,000 home repair bill. Now my computer is dying; I worked 90 minutes to get ‘er running enough to write this post on an external monitor but don’t have much hope of fixing a 3-plus-year-old laptop with a black screen of death.

Seriously, universe, it’s too late for me to NOT leave the day job on 3/31. The powers-that-be are already taking applications for my replacement. But I’m going to be very poor unless I sell a helluva lot of books….which I can’t write without a computer.

Okay, enough shameless whining for one day. God will provide.

Anyway, the BELLE CHASSE tour continues for today and tomorrow. There a fun list of DJ Jaco trivia facts over at Angel’s Guilty Pleasures today.  There’s also a spotlight stop at CBY Book Club. You can enter for the tour giveaways at both stops.

See you tomorrow for the final tour stops–thanks to those of you who’ve been following the tour. And now I’ll be off to see what else I can break.

  1. Do you have that Charlie Brown black cloud above your head? Things will get better. Maybe! I certainly hope you sell lots of books.

  2. Hopefully, things will be better soon. I have been telling Santa to leave my book buddies copies of Belle Chasse under their trees.

  3. Maybe you can do some contract work for your soon-to-be ex employer after you leave. If you can arrange it, you can probably charge them a nice, hefty hourly rate and only work part time.
