Paranormal Romance Tuesday: KING OF DARKNESS by Elisabeth Staab

Today’s featured book is KING OF DARKNESS, a new paranormal romance by Elisabeth Staab

You know how I love a good (meaning so good he’s bad) vampire romance, so it’s fun to look at a new one today, released Feb. 1 by author Elisabeth Staab…and, of course, you can win a copy. In this case, I’m giving away an ARC of the book—another copy of which is on my own towering TBR pile. Read on!

ABOUT THE BOOK: ETERNAL COMMITMENT IS NOT ON HER AGENDA…Scorned by the vampire community for her lack of power, Isabel Anthony lives a carefree existence masquerading as human–although drifting through the debauched human nightlife, she prefers the patrons’ blood to other indulgences. But when she meets the sexy, arrogant king of the vampires, this party-girl’s life turns dark and dangerous. BUT TIME’S RUNNING OUT FOR THE KING OF THE VAMPIRES…Dead-set on finding the prophesied mate who will unlock his fiery powers, Thad Morgan must find his queen before their race is destroyed. Their enemies are gaining ground, and Thad needs his powers to unite his subjects. But when his search leads him to the defiant Isabel, he wonders if fate had gotten it seriously wrong…

Want to win a copy of King of Darkness? Who’s your favorite vampire king (cough cough, Wrath, cough)? You know the drill, kids: one entry for comment, a second for blog follow, third for Twitter follow @Suzanne_Johnson, and a fourth for a tweet or retweet.

  1. We used to play this game called “Do, Marry, Kill”…and we were given three people, and we had to list them in order of which one we would…you know. I think that would be a great game to play with vampires kings, don’t you?
So gee, I’d “Do” Wrath, I’d Marry…okay, Wrath, and I’d kill…what was that guy who got offed on True Blood? Russell Something? Of course, he’s already dead…or double dead, or…whatever.

  2. I can’t really think of any other vampire kings that I’ve read aside from Wrath. So I guess he wins by default, but knowing him he’d win even if there were 100 guys in the competition!! 🙂

Love the chance to read about another vamp king.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  6. Geez…I must read this Wrath…I actually have that set of books but have not started it yet. I don’t think I’ve read any books with Vampire kings. I’ve read demon kings and goblin kings. I’d love a shot at getting this one =) Thanks for sharing a new book.

  7. I tend to root for the underdog, so I don’t know if I have a favorite vampire king.

  8. Even though I like Wrath, I want to give a different answer. So, how about the Prince of the Vampires in the Dark series / Carpathian series by Christine Feehan? Or Jean-Claude by Laurell K. Hamilton, even though he is not a King, he is the leader of the city. Mmm so many yummie vampires out there!
