Last Chance to Enter! And a Plotting Lesson

I’m over at the Bestsellerology site this month with a lesson on step-by-step plotting. It’s a system I devised that’s now seen me through six novels. The lesson goes up sometime today, so if you go over and it isn’t up, check back.

If you’re interested, throughout October I’m doing an intensive month-long workshop on plotting that will walk you through a whole novel and leave you with a finished outline, using JR Ward’s DARK LOVER as our “textbook.” This online workshop is being offered through the Southern Louisiana chapter of Romance Writers of America. You don’t have to be an RWA member (or a romance writer) to take the class, so if you’re interested, click on the link above for more info. It’ll be handled through a Yahoo email loop and is $25 for SOLA members, $30 for RWA members who aren’t in SOLA, and $35 for non-RWA members. We’re going to have fun!

Next on the agenda, some of you also know I write paranormal romance under the name Susannah Sandlin. (If not, the first book in my Penton Legacy series, Redemption, is only $3.99 for Kindle at Amazon.) I’ll be kicking off a month-long blog tour for the October 9 release of Absolution, so stay tuned for big giveaway news. (Hint: you want to win a Kindle?) I’ll post tour info here as well as on my Susannah Sandlin website.

Finally, this is LAST CALL on the contests that have run this week and last week, so and I will be pulling two weeks’ worth of winners after midnight tonight. Good luck in the contests! Check back tomorrow for a new Scene-Snippet Sunday and see if you won!
