Feral Friday and a 4-Book #PNR Bundle

Happy Feral Friday–where my wild and out-of-control TBR pile gets pared down and passed along. First, thanks to all of you who stopped by this week to read and comment on JACKSON SQUARE! The story will be up on the site through Sunday.

Sunday, when I might just have a big announcement to make…

In the meantime, since we were off schedule this week thanks to the dastardly derring-do of Jean Lafitte, next week we’ve got an INSANE number of books to give away. There will be a Reader’s Choice on both Monday and Wednesday. A visit from author Jillian Stone on Tuesday. Something, I don’t know, PATRIOTIC on Thursday, the Fourth of July. And another Feral Friday. As DJ Khaled sings, “All I do is win win win.”

Okay, so here’s what’s up for grabs today. A four-book bundle to a commenter who simply has to tell me which of the four books looks most appealing. How easy is that? Winners will be announced on Sunday. And here we go:

KISS OF STEEL, by Bec McMaster
(September 2012, Sourcebooks Casablanca)
Most people avoid the dreaded Whitechapel district. For Honoria Todd, it’s the last safe haven. But at what price? Blade is known as the master of the rookeries—no one dares cross him. It’s been said he faced down the Echelon’s army single-handedly, that ever since being infected by the blood-craving he’s been quicker, stronger, and almost immortal. When Honoria shows up at his door, his tenuous control comes close to snapping. She’s so…innocent. He doesn’t see her backbone of steel—or that she could be the very salvation he’s been seeking. LADY AND HER MAGIC, by Tammy Falkner (September 2012, Sourcebooks Casablanca)
Rules Are Made to be Disobeyed…Sophia Thorne is new to the Regency’s glittering high society, which resembles her magical homeland only insofar as both places are filled with ridiculous rules. Which means no matter where she goes, she’s bound for trouble…And Scandals Are Meant to be Shocking…The Duke of Robinsworth has flaunted and shocked society for years. In a moment of fateful mischief, Robinsworth encounters the enchanting and distinctly scandalous Sophia. Between her streak of magical mischief and his penchant for scandal, they’re about to take rule-breaking to a whole new level. (ARC)

IMMORTAL SURRENDER, by Claire Ashgrove (October 2012, Tor)
Farran de Clare, loyal member of the cursed Knights Templar, wants nothing to do with predestined mates. Even the Almighty won’t turn him into a fool again—he’d rather sacrifice his soul. Yet in the scientist Noelle Keane, a devout atheist, Farran meets the seraph designed for him. Ordered by the

archangel Gabriel to protect Noelle, the possessor of a sacred relic that could give Azazel incredible power, Farran swears to do his duty—but in name only. Fighting an attraction that grows with each day, he’s determined that he’ll never pledge himself to her. As they war over her future, their mutual passion ignites a conflict far more damning. But before Noelle will agree to eternity with him, she demands the ultimate sacrifice—his heart. (ARC)

IMMORTAL TRUST, by Claire Ashgrove (March 2013, Tor)
When archaeoloist Chloe Broussard acccepts the contract to lead a dig in Ornes, France, she has no idea she will uncover the Veil of Veronica. When she does, she discovers a danger far greater than the demons she’s confronted since

childhood. Azazel wants her, as well as the Veronica, and his chosen minion is her brother. Her hope lies with immortal Templar Knight Lucan. Her life depends on oaths she knows nothing about. For countless centuries, Lucan of Seacourt has lived with the knowledge that his brother killed their family. Now, as Azazel’s darkness eats away at his soul, old betrayal stirs suspicion. He trusts no one. Not even the seraph who can heal his dying spirit. With the fate of the Almighty hanging in the balance, Lucan must find faith in something more terrifying than the dark lord’s creations. He must learn to believe his heart.

I really REALLY want to read the Curse of the Templars books by Claire Ashgrove but since I’m working on a “secret project” involving the Templars, I don’t want to read any other fiction involving them. Instead, I’m passing them on to you! So….which floats your boat the most?

  1. I LOVE Kiss of Steel, but I got it from the library so I’d love to own it.

And A Lady and Her Magic looks good too!

  2. Kiss of Steel appeals most to me (but they all sound great!) – I love any books set in London! 🙂

  3. I love Claire Ashgrove’s Templars books. I would love to have them. I think if your secret project works out. I will like yours too. I loved the Jackson Square story. Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. Kiss of Steel would be my first choice. I am getting ready to read Jackson Square. I have held off until I could read it all in one sitting! So excited to read about Jean!

  5. I’m a sucker for magic AND historical romance, so LADY AND HER MAGIC would be it for me!

I checked out Kiss of Steel from the library based on a review recommendation and I couldn’t get past Blade’s written cockney accent “voice,” so unfortunately I didn’t finish it before it was due back at the library (and someone else had it waitlisted so I couldn’t extend my check-out). I probably would have really enjoyed the book otherwise!

  6. The Templar books sound really intriguing. I’ll have to check them out. And I can’t wait for Jackson Square to be available for the kindle. Andrew Jackson was soooo grumpy, lol!

  7. Hum last week i wasn’t all ” gaga” about teh titles but this week.. Woah!!! Which one i want the most…. man so difficult… i want to discover the bec allister one since you had a guest post about the series!! i added it on my wishlist and tried to find it in the shop here without success..; but the series by claire ashgrove caught my interest long before history and templars… and romance simply perfect for the summer and all year so i can’t decide which one is my favourite between those, the titles of this week are just perfect!

thank you for the opportunity to win them. Now off to bed to be in full shape for Jackson square

  8. I find the cover and the blurb for Lady and Her Magic intriguing. I recently finished a historical romance which I really enjoyed but there was no magic involved. Would definitely like to see this.

  9. Kiss of Steel was great. So is the ebook novella after it. I am currently reading book 2. The Templar stories sound interesting. I’m excited to hear you might be writing a Templar story too! Thanks for all the great choices.

  10. I have Kiss of Steel & it’s an awesome read! If you haven’t read it yet Suzanne I’d really recommend you keep it to read sometime (anytime!) you can find the time.

I’d love a copy of Immortal Surrender.

  11. I would love love love to get my hands on the Bec McMaster book!
*heads off to finish Jackson Square*

  12. I’d have to go with Immortal Surrender because it’s the first in a series, and I’m a little OCD like that. That and I like the Knights Templar and angels, and I’d really like to read the combination together, and find out how well it works.
